What we do?
Sundays at OBC
Our main meeting is Sunday 10.30am in the Main Hall of Oundle Primary School, Cotterstock Road, Oundle, PE8 5HA.
Please note: we currently meet in person and online over Zoom, the services are streamed live so all can join.
Sunday
In all of our services you can expect reading of the Bible, teaching, prayer (in a variety of forms), as well as seeking to encounter God through music and song. Each week we aim to engage with the truth of God, the person of Jesus and the Holy Spirit. Once a month (usually on the 2nd Sunday) we share communion together.
Age appropriate activities take place during the service for children and young people 0-16 years old.
We aim to finish the service by noon, tea, coffee and biscuits are served after the service.
The first Sunday of the month the service is “Café Style” where refreshments are served throughout and seating is around tables. This service provides a chance to discover more about the Christian faith in a more informal setting.
Everyone is welcome to join us and we look forward to you worshipping with us on a Sunday.

During the week
As a Church we seek to connect with one another and prioritise spending time getting to know each other through the week. To help us we run a range of formal and informal groups on a weekly basis, as well as various social events throughout the year. These can range from quizzes to barn dances, book nights to BBQs – there is something for everyone and it usually involves food!
During The Week
At Oundle Baptist Church we encourage everyone to join either a Connect Group or Connect Pod. These are groups organised to promote discipleship, fellowship and support for the church family. Pods are virtual groups (with a maximum of six members) and are designed to fit around work and family life for those who are away from home or unable to commit to a regular time/day to meet. Connect groups are groups that meet during the week and are a place to Connect with each other, helping and supporting each other, learning together and enjoying one another’s company. The meetings will usually involve a time of learning together from the Bible, praying for each other and getting to know one another.
The church runs a range of other ‘short course’ type events, such as Alpha courses, Marriage courses, Parenting courses (Children and Teenage) and newcomers events. Please do contact us for more details.
As a church we believe in the power of prayer and meet in small groups at various times during the week to pray for one another and our community if you would like us to pray for you please phone the support line, contact Martin via the church office or email, or drop in to No.1 on a Thursday between 10am and 12 noon.
